Fantasy NBA FanDuel DFS Values (Feb. 2)

Earlier today, I posted my favorite value plays on DraftKings and now I turn my attention to FanDuel.

With that said, here are some FanDuel values (salaries of $7,000 or less) for Monday's NBA games:

PG - Devin Harris, Dallas Mavericks (vs. MIN), $3,500: Like on DraftKings, Harris is my favorite value play at point guard on FanDuel. With Rajon Rondo out for at least the next three games, Harris is priced at the contest-minimum salary and will get the start tonight (and for a few more games). Harris needs just 17.5 fantasy points to reach 5x his salary and he has scored 21.2 and 18.7 fantasy points in his past two games. Only the Thunder are projected to score more points tonight than the Mavs based on Vegas odds.

Others to consider: Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies ($6,900); Elfrid Payton, Orlando Magic ($6,000); J.J. Barea, Dallas Mavericks ($3,500)

* FanDuel's $250K NBA Slam: $250,000 in prizes including $25,000 to 1st in tonight's NBA Slam tourney ($25 entry).

SG - DeMar DeRozan, Toronto Raptors (vs. MIL), $6,800: With an average starter salary higher on FanDuel ($6,667) than DraftKings ($6,250), it's more common for players to be priced higher on FanDuel. That's not the case with DeRozan ($6,800 on FD vs. $7,000 on DK). Since a three-game stretch where DeRozan was 6-of-34 from the field, he has now averaged 37.04 fantasy points over his past five games with at least 27 fantasy points in all five games. During that span, DeRozan has averaged 20.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Others to consider: Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($5,800); Eric Gordon, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,700); Evan Fournier (if Oladipo is out again), Orlando Magic ($3,600); Kent Bazemore, Atlanta Hawks ($3,500)

SF - Robert Covington, Philadelphia 76ers (at CLE), $5,600: Over his past seven games, Covington has averaged 13.14 points, 4.86 rebounds and 1.43 steals per game during that span. In addition, Covington has averaged 28.53 fantasy points per game over his past three and he has scored at least 22 fantasy points in six of his past seven games.

Others to consider: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Charlotte Hornets ($5,600); Paul Pierce, Washington Wizards ($4,900); Jared Dudley, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,500)

PF - Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers (at CLE), $5,700: In his past 10 games played, Noel has averaged 29.43 fantasy points per game, which is 5.16 times tonight's salary. Becoming more consistent, Noel has reached 25 fantasy points in his past seven of 10 games with a couple of games with at least 44 fantasy points to show his upside. Over that 10-game span, Noel has averaged 9.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 2.2 blocks per game.

Others to consider: Thaddeus Young, Minnesota Timberwolves ($6,800); Cody Zeller, Charlotte Hornets ($5,300); Amir Johnson, Toronto Raptors ($4,800); John Henson, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,700); Patrick Patterson, Toronto Raptors ($4,600); Jerami Grant, Philadelphia 76ers ($3,600); Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic ($3,500)

C - Timofey Mozgov, Cleveland Cavaliers ($5,200): Since a three-game streak of double-doubles, Mozgov only has one double-double in his past five games. That said, he has scored more than 20 fantasy points in seven of eight games, so he has a solid floor, but he has upside against a Sixers team that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing centers this season. The biggest drawback with Mozgov (or any Cavs' starters) is the blowout potential as they are 16-point favorites tonight.

Others to consider: Mason Plumlee, Brooklyn Nets ($6,400); Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets ($6,300); Nikola Pekovic, Minnesota Timberwolves ($5,900)

Fantasy NBA DraftKings DFS Values (Feb. 2)

When setting your DraftKings lineup(s) today, you will notice that all players priced at $8,700 or higher have favorable matchups tonight.

New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis ($10,800) has the "worst" matchup of that group, but the Hawks have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards this season. Of course, the Unibrow (and other players in his salary stratosphere) tend to be matchup-proof anyways.

The only concern for the other $10,000 guys -- LeBron James ($10,600, vs. PHI) or Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant ($10,100 and $10,000, vs. ORL) -- is the blowout potential. For at least three quarters, however, they should rack up fantasy points at an impressive clip.

In order to afford one (or more) of the high-priced studs, you'll need to find some value plays elsewhere to generate some salary-cap relief.

With that said, here are some DraftKings values ($6,500 salary or less) for Monday's NBA games:

PG - Devin Harris, Dallas Mavericks (vs. MIN), $3,100: With Rajon Rondo (face) already ruled out for Monday, Harris is expected to get the start at point for one of the league's most efficient offenses -- second only to Clippers in Offensive Rating (points scored per 100 possessions). With a salary only $100 above the contest minimum, Harris should be a lock to reach 6x value (18.6 fantasy points) with upside for more. In his past two games, Harris has played 27 and 30 minutes and finished with 23.0 and 21.25 fantasy points, respectively.

Others to consider: Elfrid Payton, Orlando Magic ($5,700); Isaiah Thomas, Phoenix Suns ($5,400); Greivis Vasquez, Toronto Raptors ($4,000); J.J. Barea, Dallas Mavericks ($3,000)

New to DFS and/or to DraftKings? Get a 100-percent deposit bonus (up to $600) when you sign up for a new DraftKings account.

SG - J.J. Redick, Los Angeles Clippers (at BKN), $3,600: It's not often that I start Redick, but he provides plenty of salary-cap relief if you want to pay up elsewhere and he should easily be able to reach value. Over the past 10 games, he has been priced between $4,000 and $4,600, which is his normally salary range. In other words, he's not usually priced below $4K. Redick needs just 18.0 fantasy points to reach 5x value, something he has done in five of his past seven games.

Others to consider: Eric Gordon, New Orleans Pelicans ($6,200); Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards ($5,900); Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks ($5,600); Kyle Korver, Atlanta Hawks ($5,200); Kevin Martin, Minnesota Timberwolves ($5,100); J.R. Smith, Cleveland Cavaliers ($4,700); Lance Stephenson, Charlotte Hornets ($4,600); O.J. Mayo, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,500); Kent Bazemore, Atlanta Hawks ($4,000); Evan Fournier (if Oladipo is out again), Orlando Magic ($3,700)

SF - Jerami Grant, Philadelphia 76ers (at CLE), $3,000: The dropoff in small forward salaries is steep with LeBron and KD both in the five-figure range, then Andrew Wiggins at $6,900 and everybody else at $5,600 or less. If you decide to not pay up and/or punt the position, Grant provides salary-cap relief with his minimum salary and should easily reach value. Grant only gets 20-something minutes per night, but he has the rare potential for multiple three-pointers and blocked shots on any given night and has averaged 18.79 fantasy points per game over his past seven games. Grant has 16.5 fantasy points in five consecutive games and in seven of his past eight.

Others to consider: Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks ($5,300); Paul Pierce, Washington Wizards ($4,800); Luc Richard Mbah A Moute, Philadelphia 76ers ($4,200); Jared Dudley, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,100); Tony Allen, Memphis Grizzlies ($3,000)

PF - Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers (at CLE), $5,200: In his past 10 games played, Noel has averaged 30.78 fantasy points per game, which would be nearly 6x his salary (5.92). Noel has reached at least 5x tonight's salary (26.0 points) in seven of those 10 games with some upside for 45-plus points, something he has done twice during that stretch. Over that 10-game span, Noel has averaged 9.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 2.2 blocks per game.

Others to consider: Thaddeus Young, Minnesota Timberwolves ($6,200); Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks ($6,200); Markieff Morris, Phoenix Suns ($6,000); Ryan Anderson, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,600); Cody Zeller, Charlotte Bobcats ($5,500); John Henson, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,600); Amir Johnson, Toronto Raptors ($4,400); Patrick Patterson, Toronto Raptors ($4,100);

C - Brook Lopez, Brooklyn Nets (vs. LAC), $6,200: It was tough choosing a "favorite" center play as I like, but don't love, all of the options I debated. Obviously, we shouldn't expect a repeat performance of Friday's 63.0-point performance in overtime, but Lopez has played at least 31 minutes and scored at least 31 fantasy points in back-to-back games. If he gets 30-plus minutes tonight versus the Clippers, who have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing centers, Lopez should have a chance to reach value once again.

Others to consider: Mason Plumlee, Brooklyn Nets ($5,400); Nikola Pekovic, Minnesota Timberwolves ($5,300); Timofey Mozgov, Cleveland Cavaliers ($5,000); Alex Len, Phoenix Suns ($3,500)

Daily Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Values for April 6th

If you play daily fantasy sports (and who doesn't these days?!), you know that one of the keys to success is uncovering undervalued players to allow you to load up on studs elsewhere.

In case you've never played daily fantasy basketball, every player has a salary and your roster cannot exceed the game's salary-cap maximum.

For FanDuel leagues, rosters consist of nine players and the salary cap is $60,000, which averages to roughly $6,667 per player. To give you an idea of the range for Sunday's games, Thunder SF Kevin Durant ($11,900) has the contest's highest salary while many are tied for the lowest at the game-minimum salary ($3,500).

There are a number of benefits compared to traditional full-season re-draft leagues, such as:
  • you don't have to worry about being saddled by players sidelined by injury;
  • having a late pick doesn't rule out owning studs like Kevin Durant or LeBron James;
  • you get the instant gratification of winning your league(s) that night.
And you know that enthusiasm you have after drafting your fantasy team(s)? Well, you get to experience that feeling on a nightly basis with daily fantasy basketball.

OK, with the preliminary stuff out of the way, here are some value plays to consider for Sunday (April 6th) FanDuel leagues:

PG - Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks (at IND), $6,500: Teague has put up 35-plus fantasy points in back-to-back outings while averaging 20.5 points and 10.0 assists. While the Pacers have been excellent at defending point guards this season, they have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards over the past 15 days.

PG - Darren Collison, Los Angeles Clippers (vs. LAL), $6,200: While Chris Paul is a must-start as a stud with a great matchup, Collison should be considered here as well especially if Jamal Crawford misses another game. Collison has scored at least 30 fantasy points in four consecutive games and has averaged 21.0 points, 4.5 assists, 3.25 rebounds and 2.75 steals during that stretch.

PG - Reggie Jackson, Oklahoma City Thunder (at PHO), $6,000: Since missing two games, Jackson has averaged 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in his past two games. In addition, Jackson has now scored at least 25 fantasy points in six consecutive games.

PG - Ray McCallum, Sacramento Kings (vs. DAL), $5,500: With Isaiah Thomas sidelined, McCallum has averaged 45 minutes and 31.15 fantasy points per game over his past six. During that span, he has averaged 15.33 points, 7.17 assists, 3.67 rebounds and 1.17 steals per game.

PG - Mario Chalmers, Miami Heat (vs. NYK), $5,100: Chalmers is coming off one of his best games (24 points, six assists and six rebounds) against the Timberwolves in double-OT. Since missing a couple of games, he has averaged 29.7 fantasy points per game over his past three.

Find FanDuel Fantasy Basketball One-Day Contests and Win Cash

SG - Randy Foye, Denver Nuggets (at HOU), $5,700: Foye has scored more than 30 fantasy points in two of his past three games. During that span, he is averaging 14.33 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. This season, the Rockets have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards.

SG - Jodie Meeks, Los Angeles Lakers (at LAC), $5,700: Meeks had a cold shooting night on April Fool's Day, but he has scored at least 21 (real) points and 25.1 fantasy points in three of his other four most recent games.

SG - Anthony Morrow, New Orleans Pelicans (at POR), $4,400: Morrow has scored 20 or more (real) points in four of his past six games and 30 or more fantasy points three times during that stretch.

SG - Devin Harris, Dallas Mavericks (vs. SAC), $4,100: Harris has averaged close to 20 fantasy points per game over his past two games and he gets a favorable matchup on Sunday. Only the Lakers have allowed more fantasy points to opposing shooting guards this season.

SF - Chandler Parsons, Houston Rockets (vs. DEN), $7,000: Parsons has scored at least 31.6 fantasy points in five consecutive games and in seven of his past eight. During that eight-game span, he has averaged 18.63 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.25 assists and 1.25 steals per game. The Nuggets have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards this season.

SF - Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors (vs. UTA), $4,900: Green had a double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) on Friday while adding four assists, two blocks and two steals for 35 fantasy points. A multi-category contributor, Green has scored 30-plus fantasy points in two of his past three and has at least 26.6 fantasy points in each of those three games.

SF - Harrison Barnes, Golden State Warriors (vs. UTA), $3,500: Provided David Lee misses another game, Barnes and Green could both be in store for big games. Barnes has played at least 36 minutes in each of his past two games and he scored 27.1 fantasy points on Friday.

PF - Derrick Favors, Utah Jazz (at GS), $6,700: Favors has scored at least 28 fantasy points in seven consecutive games. During that stretch, he has averaged 13.71 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.57 blocks and 1.14 steals per game.

PF - Jordan Hill, Los Angeles Lakers (at LAC), $5,600: After sitting out on April 1st, Hill has scored 43.0 and 32.5 fantasy points in his past two games. Playing in eight of the team's past nine games, Hill has 31-plus fantasy points in five games and less than 19 fantasy points three times.

PF - Marreese Speights, Golden State Warriors (vs. UTA), $3,800: With Lee out, Speights has started and produced in his past two outings. He followed up a 22/9 outing with a double-double (12 points and 10 rebounds) on Friday.

C - Robin Lopez, Portland Trail Blazers (vs. NOP), $5,900: With back-to-back double-doubles and three of them in his past six games, Lopez has averaged 33.82 fantasy points, a double-double (13.5 points, 10.33 rebounds) and 3.0 blocks per game during that stretch.

C - Omer Asik, Houston Rockets (vs. DEN), $5,100: Asik has scored at least 25 fantasy points in four consecutive games and he's averaging 10.5 points and 15.25 boards per game during that stretch. Only the Lakers and 76ers have allowed more fantasy points to opposing centers than the Nuggets this season.

C - Miles Plumlee, Phoenix Suns (vs. OKC), $3,700: Plumlee has scored at least 23.9 fantasy points in three of his past four games. The Thunder are one of the better teams in the league at defending centers, but Plumlee has been productive and he's priced barely above the contest minimum.

Daily Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Values for March 25th

If you play daily fantasy sports (and who doesn't these days?!), you know that one of the keys to success is uncovering undervalued players to allow you to load up on studs elsewhere.

In case you've never played daily fantasy basketball, every player has a salary and your roster cannot exceed the game's salary-cap maximum.

For FanDuel leagues, rosters consist of nine players and the salary cap is $60,000, which averages to roughly $6,667 per player. To give you an idea of the range for Tuesday's games, Thunder SF Kevin Durant ($12,000) has the contest's highest salary while many are tied for the lowest at the game-minimum salary ($3,500).

There are a number of benefits compared to traditional full-season re-draft leagues, such as:
  • you don't have to worry about being saddled by players sidelined by injury;
  • having a late pick doesn't rule out owning studs like Kevin Durant or LeBron James;
  • you get the instant gratification of winning your league(s) that night.
And you know that enthusiasm you have after drafting your fantasy team(s)? Well, you get to experience that feeling on a nightly basis with daily fantasy basketball.

OK, with the preliminary stuff out of the way, here are some value plays to consider for Tuesday (March 25th) FanDuel leagues:

PG - Raymond Felton, New York Knicks (at LAL), $5,800: Felton has been inconsistent this season and his last three games (30.2, 18.6 and 38.2 fantasy points, respectively) illustrate that. With a favorable matchup against the Lakers, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing point guards, perhaps Felton scores 30-something fantasy points again.

PG - Reggie Jackson, Oklahoma City Thunder (at DAL), $5,600: With double-doubles and 40-plus fantasy points in back-to-back games, Jackson is unlikely to repeat those numbers with Russell Westbrook likely to play tonight. That said, he has at least 24.5 fantasy points in four consecutive games. During that four-game stretch, Jackson has averaged 16.25 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.75 assists and 1.25 steals per game. If for some reason Westbrook sits tonight, which is not expected, Jackson becomes a must-start.

PG - Greivis Vasquez, Toronto Raptors (at CLE), $4,500: Teammate Kyle Lowry ($9,100) is the most expensive point guard for tonight's games and is generally worth it with 40-plus fantasy points in seven of his past nine games. That said, Vasquez has been productive recently as well and at half of the cost. Vasquez has scored at least 21.9 fantasy points in each of his past three games.

FanDuel is offering an MLB Freeroll for Opening Day: $1,000 in prizes, FREE entry

SG - Devin Harris, Dallas Mavericks (vs. OKC), $4,600: Harris has scored a minimum of 20 fantasy points in four of his past five games. During that five-game span, Harris has averaged 10.2 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal per game. This season, the Thunder have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards.

SG - Tim Hardaway, Jr., New York Knicks (at LAL), $3,700: Even though Hardaway has scored less than 15 fantasy points in three consecutive games, he has the potential to get hot and the Lakers may enhance the likelihood of that happening. In his previous three games, Hardaway scored 20-plus points per game.

SF - J.R. Smith, New York Knicks (at LAL), $5,400: Against the Cavs on Sunday, Smith played 38 minutes and scored 18 points with four assists and three rebounds. If he gets close to 40 minutes again tonight against the Lakers, Smith could be in store for a huge game.

SF - Caron Butler, Oklahoma City Thunder (at DAL), $4,300: After scoring just four points against the Raptors, Butler scored 23 points against the Nuggets last night. That said, he has now scored at least 21 fantasy points in three consecutive games.

PF - Amar'e Stoudemire, New York Knicks (at LAL), $5,400: Stoudemire scored 20.7 fantasy points against the Cavs on Sunday and that was a six-game low. Averaging 29.55 fantasy points per game during that span, Stoudemire is averaging 18.33 points and 7.33 rebounds per game over that stretch. With the Lakers allowing the most fantasy points to opposing power forwards, an all-Knicks combo with Amar'e and Carmelo Anthony wouldn't be a bad idea.

PF - Jordan Hill, Los Angeles Lakers (vs. NYK), $5,000: Even though the Knicks allow the fewest fantasy points to opposing power forwards, Hill is still worthy of a start on Tuesday night. In his two games since an extended absence, Hill has scored 31.8 and 45.6 fantasy points, respectively. In those two games, he is averaging 18.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. Plus, Pau Gasol (vertigo) is "doubtful" to play tonight.

C - Tyson Chandler, New York Knicks (at LAL), $6,700: Can you start too many players against the Lakers? That's a question you won't hear any fantasy owners asking. With a favorable matchup, Chandler should bounce back after a subpar performance (four points and six boards) on Sunday. In his previous two games, Chandler averaged 12.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and a block per game.

C - Kyle O'Quinn, Orlando Magic (vs. POR), $4,900: With O'Quinn, you know what to expect: 20-something fantasy points at a reasonable price. In his past 10 games, he has played more than 25 minutes only twice, but he has at least 19.9 fantasy points in all of those games. During that stretch, he is averaging 8.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.

Daily Fantasy Basketball: FanDuel Values for March 11th

If you play daily fantasy sports (and who doesn't these days?!), you know that one of the keys to success is uncovering undervalued players to allow you to load up on studs elsewhere.

In case you've never played daily fantasy basketball, every player has a salary and your roster cannot exceed the game's salary-cap maximum.

  • having a late pick doesn't rule out owning studs like Kevin Durant or LeBron James;
  • you get the instant gratification of winning your league(s) that night.
And you know that enthusiasm you have after drafting your fantasy team(s)? Well, you get to experience that feeling on a nightly basis with daily fantasy basketball.

OK, with the preliminary stuff out of the way, here are some value plays to consider for Tuesday (March 11th) FanDuel leagues:

PG - Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies (vs. POR), $6,700: Even though he had only 4.1 fantasy points against the Nets last Wednesday, Conley has scored more than 30 fantasy points in four of his other five most recent games. Conley has averaged 15.2 points, 5.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals during that stretch. Only the Sixers and Cavs have allowed more fantasy points to opposing points this season than the Blazers.

PG - Brandon Jennings, Detroit Pistons (vs. SAC), $6,600: Jennings has played 30-plus minutes in his past four games including a recent high of 39 points in his last outing. In those four games, Jennings has scored a minimum of 23.9 fantasy points per game. Tonight, Jennings and the Pistons face the Kings, who have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards.

PG - Ray McCallum, Sacramento Kings (at DET), $3,500: Born in Detroit, McCallum returns home to face the Pistons, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points this season to opposing point guards. McCallum is coming off a quiet night against the Nets on Sunday (7.4 fantasy points in 30 minutes), but he had scored 16.6 to 21.3 fantasy points in each of his previous four games.

* FanDuel is offering an MLB Freeroll for Opening Day: $1,000 in prizes, FREE entry

SG - Danny Green, San Antonio Spurs (at CHI), $4,800: While the matchup is far from favorable, Green has been productive recently and his production should at least exceed his relatively modest cost. In his past three games, Green has averaged 26.33 fantasy points per game. Doing a bit of everything, Green has averaged 13.33 points, 3.0 treys, 3.33 boards, 3.33 assists, 1.67 blocks and 1.0 steals per game over his past three.

SG - Devin Harris, Dallas Mavericks (at GS), $4,300: Over his past three games, Harris has averaged 26.03 fantasy points per game including 35.7 of them on Sunday against the Pacers. During that three-game span, Harris has averaged 11.33 points, 5.67 assists and 2.0 steals per game.

SF - Corey Brewer, Minnesota Timberwolves (vs. MIL), $5,000: In 44 minutes against the Raptors on Sunday, Brewer had 17 points, six steals, three assists and three rebounds as he scored 39.1 fantasy points. In his past 10 games, he has seven games with multiple steals (22 steals in those games) and three games with none. That said, the Bucks have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards.

SF - Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks (at MIN), $4,900: With a strong all-around performance, Middleton scored 43.7 fantasy points against the Magic last night. Middleton knocked down five-of-eight three-pointers as he scored 21 points and added six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block. Over his past four games, he has scored a minimum of 23.3 fantasy points in each game.

When it comes to the 11 teams that allow the most fantasy points to opposing power forwards, only four of them play tonight. Each of those teams face stud power forwards: Rockets (4th-most, Serge Ibaka - $8,200), Bucks (6th-most, Kevin Love - $11,800) and Mavs (8th most, David Lee - $7,800) and Kings (9th most, Greg Monroe - $7,800).

PF - Ersan Ilyasova, Milwaukee Bucks (at MIN), $5,500: The Timbewolves allow the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards this season. As noted above, the 11 teams that allow the most are all facing pricier options at the position. Ilyasova posted a double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) and finished with 30.7 fantasy points last night against the Magic. Despite some inconsistency, he has scored at least 24.7 fantasy points in four of the five games he has played this month.

PF - Boris Diaw, San Antonio Spurs (at CHI), $5,100: The matchup isn't favorable and Diaw had a six-game low in fantasy points (20.6) against the Magic in his most recent game. That said, he contributes in a variety of ways and should at least be able to give you 20 fantasy points as a floor.

C - Nikola Pekovic, Minnesota Timberwolves (vs. MIL), $6,800: Pek has played in five games since returning from injury and he has been solid: 24.2 to 31.8 fantasy points each outing. While his production has primarily come from just two categories, he is averaging a respectable 17.4/8.8 during those five games. With a favorable matchup, the Bucks allow the third-most fantasy points to opposing centers, Pekovic has an opportunity to excel tonight.

Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftKings Values for March 11th

If you play daily fantasy sports (and who isn't these days?!), you know that one of the keys to success is uncovering undervalued players to allow you to load up on studs elsewhere.

In case you've never played daily fantasy basketball, you select your team based on a player's salary and your team's salary cannot exceed the game salary-cap maximum.

For DraftKings leagues, rosters consist of eight players and the salary cap is $50,000, which averages to roughly $6,250 per player. To give you an idea of the range for Tuesday's games, Thunder SF/PF Kevin Durant ($11,200) has the contest's highest salary while many are tied for the lowest at the game-minimum salary ($3,000).

There are a number of benefits compared to traditional full-season re-draft leagues, such as:
  • you don't have to worry about being saddled by players sidelined by injury;

OK, with the preliminary stuff out of the way, here are some value plays to consider for Tuesday (March 11th) DraftKings leagues:

PG - D.J. Augustin, Chicago Bulls (vs. SAS), $4,800: Augustin has averaged 20.2 points and 2.4 three-pointers per game this month and is averaging 27.95 fantasy points per game in March. The Spurs have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season.

PG - Will Bynum, Detroit Pistons (vs. SAC), $3,900: Despite modest minutes, Bynum has scored 20-plus fantasy points in five of his past six games. The Kings have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season.

PG - Ray McCallum, Sacramento Kings (at DET), $3,300: Born in Detroit, McCallum returns home to face the Pistons, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points this season to opposing point guards. McCallum is coming off a quiet night against the Nets on Sunday (9.5 fantasy points in 30 minutes), but he had scored 17.25 to 22.0 fantasy points in each of his previous four games.

* DraftKings is running a one-day contest (Mar. 26th) with $1 million in prizes including $100k for 1st place. The entry fee is $500, but they are running qualifiers every day including a free qualifier plus deposit bonus to new accounts.

PG/SG - Jerryd Bayless, Boston Celtics (at IND), $4,500: Bayless has scored at least 23.75 fantasy points in four of his past five games including one against tonight's opponent. Over those five games, Bayless is averaging 15.8 points, 1.6 three's, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

PG/SG - Devin Harris, Dallas Mavericks (at GS), $3,700: Over his past three games, Harris has averaged 27.5 fantasy points per game including 38.25 of them on Sunday against the Pacers. During that three-game span, Harris has averaged 11.33 points, 5.67 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Based on salary cost per average fantasy points produced this month, Harris has the lowest number (160.43) among guard-eligible players for Tuesday games.

SG/SF - Corey Brewer, Minnesota Timberwolves (vs. MIL), $4,900: In 44 minutes against the Raptors on Sunday, Brewer had 17 points, six steals, three assists and three rebounds as he scored 39.25 fantasy points. In his past 10 games, he has seven games with multiple steals (22 steals in those games) and three games with none. That said, the Bucks have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards.

SG/SF - Danny Green, San Antonio Spurs (at CHI), $4,600: While the matchup is far from favorable, Green has been productive recently and his production should at least exceed his relatively modest cost. In his past three games, Green has scored more than 30 fantasy points twice and at least 21.75 per game. Doing a bit of everything, Green has averaged 13.33 points, 3.0 treys, 3.33 boards, 3.33 assists, 1.67 blocks and 1.0 steals per game over his past three.

SF - Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors (vs. DAL), $3,800: Green saw a three-game streak of games with 23.75-plus fantasy points end as he fouled out in 22 minutes on Sunday. That said, he's a solid contributor in virtually all categories at a minimal price point. The Mavs have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to small forwards this year.

SF/PF - Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks (at MIN), $4,400: With a strong all-around performance, Middleton scored 47.0 fantasy points against the Magic last night. Middleton knocked down five-of-eight three-pointers as he scored 21 points and added six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block. Over his past four games, he has scored a minimum of 24.5 fantasy points in each game.

SF/PF - Ersan Ilyasova, Milwaukee Bucks (at MIN), $5,200: Ilyasova posted a double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) and finished with 33.25 fantasy points last night against the Magic. Despite some inconsistency, he has scored at least 26.5 fantasy points in four of the five games he has played this month.

PF/C - Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls (vs. SAS), $5,600: Gibson had an poor shooting outing (3 of 11) on Sunday vs. Miami, but he played through the flu. In his previous three outings, he was 25 of 43 (.581) from the field. Even with an off game against the Heat, Gibson has scored 24.5-plus fantasy points in three consecutive games.

PF/C - Reggie Evans, Sacramento Kings (at DET), $3,600: Evans played a four-game low of 17 minutes on Sunday, but he still grabbed nine rebounds in limited playing time. In his previous matchup in Detroit, Evans just missed a double-double (11 points, nine rebounds) as he scored 23.75 fantasy points in 20 minutes.

C - Kelly Olynyk, Boston Celtics (at IND), $4,700: There are a couple of concerns with Olynyk — the matchup is unfavorable and he has played just 17 and 18 minutes in his past two games. That said, he has averaged 16.67 points, 1.67 treys and 6.0 rebounds with 26.67 fantasy points per game over his past three since returning from injury.
