J.J. Hickson has torn ACL, out for season

After leaving Friday's game against the Mavs early with a knee injury, Nuggets power forward J.J. Hickson had an MRI today.

Per Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post, the MRI revealed that Hickson has a torn ACL and he will miss the remainder of the season.

Before last night's game, Hickson had three consecutive double-doubles and he has averaged 15.33 points and 9.67 rebounds per game over his past six games.

The injury should lead to more playing time for Darrell Arthur, who played 28 minutes last night, in addition to Timofey Mozgov, who played only 14 minutes last night.
